April Round-Up
Wow, friends. This month has been bananas. For normally very un-busy people, the past few weeks have been jam-packed. All good things, which I'm grateful for, but I'm in need of some quieting. April included: a weekend visit from in-laws, our son's birthday party, my mom's birthday, our son's actual birthday, a semi-spontaneous girls weekend with my mom and sister, the first half of my headboard refinishing project, Easter, Spring Break for both kids, two cousins (& kids) from out-of-town coming to visit, then my aunt & uncle from WA State visiting & staying with us a few days. SOOO many good things – celebrating, shared meals, wonderful conversations! And also, I'm "le tired." Lol
Still a good bit of baking & reading done as well, though a few DNFs left me disappointed with the month's reading overall, it still ended on a high! Here's to a quieter May with hopefully better reads.
